This one is really interesting - it is the original cover for Terry Pratchett’s book ‘Dark Side of The Sun’ before Josh kirby was brought in to do all the Pratchett covers. It is a much more realistically sci-fi cover than the later version. It seems like the publishers were initially going to market this book as sci-fi and then later decided to mix it in with the hugely successful Discworld phenomena so Josh's has the humorous element in it. Larger image size with this foil print of 198 x 146mm in 40mm mount to overall size of 278 x 226mm. Foil printing is a different medium where metallic foil is used and the light shines off it in many different ways. Often popular with 'New Age' groups but not with us when we're trying to photograph them for here! It is impossible to light them properly without making them look like a neon sign! We've done our best - they are far better than it looks here, believe me.
