We reserve the right to refuse any order if the details requested are not provided or do not match with the card details. You will receive an order confirmation by E-Mail. All orders require a signature on delivery. We also need to be able to contact you if your card is declined on authorisation so be sure to supply means by which we can easily contact you. We do not make telephone cold calls or supply your details to anyone else. Please check to make sure the address details you enter are full and correct, especially the postal code. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Any problems ordering then E-Mail us with your ordering problem. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your currency before it appears on your statement. To get an idea of your order value a free currency converter is available at www.xe.com. We accept Switch, Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone / fax / post or over the Internet. Our website is fully secured so ordering through our website is the quickest and easiest method. The website can never contain all our of our stock or stock that we have access to via our many contacts in the art and publishing world so if you are after something in particular send us an E-Mail / phone / FAX or write to us.
Shipping And Handling
We have one price for packing insurance and shipping per order, so the more you order the cheaper it works out. Within the United Kingdom it is £4.40p per order, within Europe it is £8.80p per order and outside Europe it is £12 per order. Please note that these charges are for prints ltd, std or posters etc also T-Shirts and books. If you are buying an original work of art from one of our two Original Art Galleries then these charges do not apply. We will E-Mail you when we receive your order with the best insured shipping options we have available at that time.
Delivery Schedule
We process your order right away as long as all the items are in stock. Orders within the UK paid by credit / debit card usually arrive well within two weeks and often within one week. International orders paid for by credit / debit card can also arrive within one week, but please allow three weeks. Orders that are to be shipped to a delivery address other than the card registered address may take longer due to security checking. Orders paid for by a posted cheque will take about one week longer to reach you. Orders from outside the UK paid for by cheque must be in the form of an International Money Order or cheque drawn on a UK bank unless previously agreed with us and conversion fees paid. Cheques that otherwise incur bank charges may be refused. If in doubt contact us first. Some overseas orders containing books, T-Shirts or a large volume of prints may need to be shipped by surface mail rather than air-mail and may take 4 - 6 weeks. If in doubt please ask. If you are buying a present for someone and need to receive your order by a certain date then contact us by phone / Fax or E-Mail. We will do everything we can to help you.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock but is still available we can back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If an item turns out to be unavailable that we had thought would be available, we will make sure that we let you know exactly what the state of play is and will register your request on our database in case we are able to find the item at some point in the future, when we will E-Mail you to ask if you still want it. Please ensure we always have your current E-Mail address particularly overseas customers. All orders are supplied free of all UK taxation.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer where they are printed out for our order processing and then deleted from the system. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Our manual archive does not hold all your personal details and these are kept securely locked. If you order again soon after you receive an order we can get your card details from the manual archive otherwise we need your card details each time you order from us.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. It is very rare for an order to be damaged in transit because we have years of experience of packing these types of goods However if your order arrives damaged then package it up in the same packaging it arrived in strengthening where possible and return it to us. We will replace the damaged items and refund your costs. We make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and photographs of all our products are accurate but if you are disappointed with your purchase in any way then please let us know. Artists UK do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. The site can also remember your details for when you visit again.
Remittance Terms
All orders are to be paid for in advance of despatch If an order is placed with the option of "Payment Sent Separately" we will notify you if we do not receive payment in case your cheque / letter or Fax has gone astray.
