For those of you who remember 'The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway' by Genesis from before they "sold out" and went totally pop goes the walk-this-way, well, yes, this was inspired by the Lamia who gave Rael an experience not to be forgotten! Of course, the Lamia are originally from Greek mythology but even greek mythology has a hard time producing a storyline as powerful and deep in imagery as the above Genesis album - possibly this was the peak of Progressive Rock in the seventies (and now they call it proggy or progrock - good grief! - does punk get called punkies now?). Anyway, enough babble, you're allowed to buy it whether you like Genesis or not!
