Image size is 303 x 420mm mounted in 60mm acid-free mountboard to overall size of 423 x 540mm. This Josh Kirby painting was for the cover of the Terry Pratchett book of Discworld terms of the same title it features the wonderful orangutan Librarian of Unseen University. No, that's right, this one isn't Discworld but it is here just to show that Josh Kirby produced masses of other brilliant artwork. The image is 23" x 26" on a gorgeous textured board of around 300gsm. The total edition was 565 with 65 proof copies (a bit more than the 10% admittedly but not too far over). The ones we have are signed and numbered to 500 by Josh Kirby. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by AUTHOR SERVICES for the Gallery who published it. It was printed in continuous tone offset litho in 12 colours and it's really vibrant with the textures of the original. It was painted in 1983 for a promotional calendar with the theme of L Ron Hubbard's 'Battlefield Earth' and also has the title 'Battlefield Earth' in Josh's book 'Cosmic Cornucopia' (See Bookshop). LAST ONE! A great picture featuring many of the best characters in the City Watch of Ankh Morpock including Angua, Colon, Nobby and of course Carrot. There's that guy with the 'Gonne' too! Printed the same as the other Josh Kirby Limited Editions this one is image size 303mm high by 386mm wide mounted in 60mm acid-free mountboard to an overall size of 423mmx506mm. These Josh Kirby limited editions are all the same height so look great together on the wall. This is one of the later Josh Kirby Limited Editions we published and as such it was produced in a batch so that Josh Kirby didn't have to sign too many in one go. This means there are only just over 100 of these actually available even though they are signed over 500 (plus a few Josh Kirby Artists Proof copies). This means that as they become scarcer they will become more expensive and this is why they are priced higher than the first two we published. This print is under Discworld Prints by Josh Kirby. This brilliant painting was one of Josh's personal favourites and obviously a favourite with the fans too. It does of course feature the revised version of 'Twoflower' as four-eyes rather than four eyes! Confused? Look at the original 'Light Fantastic' cover. Image size is 303mm high by 366mm wide mounted in 60mm acid-free mountboard to an overall size of 423mm x 486mm. The smallest of the five but still the most popular possibly due to featuring Rincewind, Cohen, Twoflower and loads of little luggages! This is one of the later Limited Editions we published and as such it was produced in a batch so that Josh didn't have to sign too many in one go. This means there are only just over 100 of these actually available even though they are signed over 500 (plus a few Artist's Proof copies). This one was used for the cover of the collected edition of the first three "witches books". Josh Kirby also called it "When Shall We Three Meet Again". Printed the same as the other limited editions this one is image size 303mm high by 431mm wide mounted in 60mm acid-free mountboard to overall size of 423mmx551mm. This one is the biggest image but the limited editions are all the same height so they look great together on the wall. This is one of the later Josh Kirby Limited Editions we published and as such i was produced in a batch so that Josh didn't have to sign too many in one go.
