This massive 433 x 543 mm image was a silk-screen printed run under a special license from B&B of only 250 copies. Beautiful subtle tones. This is rare stock that is way below the original retail price . Supplied unmounted. Check that size again because it really is a lovely huge one, which is unusual for Elvgren reproductions. There is also an odd fact about this picture but we're not giving it away. Whoever spots it will get a 'Bright Spark' award and their name will go in here ... but we still won't be saying what it is! A new girl is being presented for the king’s harem. Notice the fruit bowl! It’s a subtle tounge in cheek piece by the great pin-up artist. The tradition 'Still life' fruit bowl is hardly going to get noticed is it? Image Size 347 x 277 mm. 60 mm mount (or matt in USA) to overall 467 x 397 mm. Much larger than many of the other prints available here. The copyright is attributed to a Ms Marianne Ohl Phillips though we are given to understand there is some ongoing dispute regarding this due to the copyrights owned by Daniel Vancas on a lot of Gil Elvgren's work.
