The Official Bright Spark Award on this item goes to Anna in Australia who tells us - "This book was written by Anne Mcaffery and explores the interactions of two space faring species us and them - the hrrubans as illustrated in the poster - on a world where both cultures are experimenting with kind of back to nature type settlements. In the end it gets down to the two home governments, fear and hysteria (I hate to point out similarities with our current political climate) and a decision has to be made regarding whether one or both of the cultures can continue to colonise a planet on which both groups of settlers would like to remain together."
