ALAN LEE

This was the first version of the Mabinogion to carry Alan Lee's beautiful illustrations, published by Dragon's Dream way back in 1982. The translation is by Gwyn and Thomas Jones and fully illustrated by Alan Lee. Includes the paintings Olwen, Blodeudd and The blue Knight that have all been published as Alan Lee Limited Edition prints (see our print section for Alan Lee). It is a larger format size than the later Charlotte Guest translation with Alan Lee's illustrations published by Harper Collins. It is 210 x 280 mm with 224 pages (softcover) and signed on the inside cover sheet by Alan Lee. The condition is pretty much pristine. There is only one copy available so first come first served.
