We have all been waiting many years for this wonderful piece of artwork to finally see the light of day!

It is actually a very early piece of art by Ed Org when he was feeling inspired by Tolkien's books and is a rare subject since it is inspired by the wife of Tom Bombadil, that fabulous and neglected character in Lord of the Rings. Her name is actually Goldberry but she is also referred to by the rather broader epithet of 'The River Daughter'.

A beautiful d Org sketchwork (open edition) 155 mm x 233 mm with title under the centre and signing in pencil by Ed Org. Printed on a fairly heavy matt board. Supplied mounted in a 50mm mount to an overall size of 2900 x 380 mm.

Given the inspiration behind it we are expecting this to be one of Ed's most popular art prints regardless of it being early work that he perhaps feels is a long time ago and not quite where he is now. The fact that this beautiful and evocative sketch is part of his early portfolio only shows how talented he was right from the start. A great gift for anyone into Tolkien books although sadly she and her husband Tom Bombadil never made it into the films.
