Another of those amazing comic artists who also turn out incredible paintings and it is long overdue that he had his own section on Artists UK. The legendary genius of Berni Wrightson is something for everyone to appreciate whether you like this style of artwork or not. Personally, I've always loved Meltification even if I'm not entirely sure why ... you may feel the same. Imagine the looks on people's faces if you have this as the centrepiece in your home. It certainly beats all those "safe" "conventional" pieces of art that so many lets-be-sure-we-don't-offend-anyone-people go for doesn't it? A statement of individuality if ever there was one. |

The great Alien-designer and king of all things dark and brooding! |

One of the most exciting artists around nowadays and his 'Razor Gothic' has always been popular with our customers. Strong bold images of stylish denizens of the dark-side, biomechanoid, fetish, gothic and beautiful fantasy - its all here. He takes on the genres of other great artists and shows how easily he matches up to them! |

John Bolton is a major British artist based in the London area with a long track record of brilliant work but certainly one of his greatest achievements to date has been the creation of the most dangerously erotic vampires ever conceived of. But you'll find his BATMAN Manbat elsewhere on the site and the Limited Edition BLUE in here as long a we have stock left. |

From the stark and demanding graphics of the Sandman covers to the elaborate inventiveness of album covers for the likes of Paradise Lost is the realm of the awesome talent of Dave McKean. A truly modern artist with a totally original style owing little to the traditions of fantasy illustration or painting that have gone before. These covers here are without the words and were published back in 1997. They have been specially dry-mounted to keep them flat and in good condition and mounted in bevel-cut mounts to show them in their full glory. We have very limited stock of these and it is unlikely we will get anymore when they are gone. |

We originally understood from sources in the trade that his work was photo collage but there is no photo collage in his SF and Fantasy work. All are original paintings, drawn by hand using a graphic tablet, from a "white page" (screen) using no scan or any effect. Each painting needs between 40 and 100 hours of work. |
