It was used for the cover of 'Bloodstone Lands' by R.A. Salvatore. The painting was sold early on in Larry Elmore's career. It barely missed being destroyed in a fire in Florida but was damaged and retained by the insurance company. It was bought from them and finally purchased by Larry Elmore again who then worked very hard at restoring it fromn the damage caused by the fire. What a history!
