DAN WOODS

This beatiful image is from 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' where Lucy arrives in Narnia only to be presented with the sight of a lampost growing in the woods. The image is 460 x 310 mm. The medium is a detailed ink drawing over a pencil sketch and then coloured in parts with water-soluble pencils (after all, snow IS white!). Supplied mounted but not framed. Signed and dated 1986 by the artist in ink on the right lower border and titled 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' in pencil on the lower border on the left. The detail and feel of this original is superb.
