RARE! A beautiful set of six 410 x 280mm full colour plates of artwork drawn by John Buscema, inked by Rudy Nebres and coloured by Peter Ledger. Although this is an open edition portfolio it was published way back in 1979 by Pacific Comics and not so easy to come by nowadays. A great find for fans of artists John Buscema, Rudy Nebres and Peter Ledger.

Ultraverse was a comic book series published by Malibu Comics. The Ultraverse was a shared universe where characters called "Ultras" had super-human abilities. The Ultraverse comics series was launched by Malibu Comics in the early 1990s comics boom and the company was taken over by Marvel Comics in 1994. Dave Dorman did a great deal of art involved with the series and this fabulous large limited edition print is a representative and fabulous slice of that action. The image size is 350 x 494 mm on an overall size 374 x 554 mm textured artpaper. Signed and numbered over 500 by Dave Dorman. Supplied unmounted. The framing option given here includes dry-mounting on adhesive board prior to framing. A Jim Sterank poster! Wow! This extremely rare poster was published by Marvel Entertainment Group way back in 1988 and measures 860 mm x 560 mm.. Jim Steranko was the guy who set the pace for comic art way back in the seventies, particularly with his Nick Fury art and amazing so-far-ahead-of-his-time designs that drove comic art into a new era. A fantastic collectible poster for any fan of Jim Steranko and or Marvel's great Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD. Condition is very good for such an old poster. This extremely rare poster of Neil Gaiman's Death from the Sandman comics measures 830mm by 555mm (32" x 22") and was published by DC Comics in 1994. Such a Sandman Death poster from way back and long out-of-print must be one of the most fantastic collectibles for any fan of Neil Gaiman and his Sandman comic series. Apart from the Sandman himself, or possibly even including ol' Morpheus!, Death is THE big favourite character and as one of the most unusual takes on this particular brand of anthropomorphism would give Terry Pratchett's Death a run for his money ... who needs a scythe anyway ? :-)

This extremely rare poster from way back in 1984 when it was published by Marvel Comics Group is long, long out of print and measures 740 mm by 585 mm. A fantastic collectible for any fan of the Golden Age of comics when good guys were good guys and bad guys wore funny helmets and lost their teeth when they were hit. Alex Schomberg's artwork from this period is classic and this rare poster is one of the best examples of it. Some mottling and light creasing in the top 70mm of the poster but otherwise in excellent condition. We only have three of these so move quick.
