INCREDIBLE WAREHOUSE FIND !!! This 255 x 420 mm Barry Windsor-Smith portfolio from way back in 1978 is very rare now and we found a few copies on our travels. The sight of this is likely to bring a tear to the eye of any ardent Barry Windsor-Smith fan ! The four plates are of Barry Windsor-Smith's incredible ink sketchwork that made him such a formidable name in the comics industry in the seventies. It is also very cleverly designed. In the background of each of the guardians you can see one of the other guardians. Plate One is signed and numbered over 1000 by Barry Windsor-Smith himself. All in all a brilliant collectible and possibly the most sought-after item of any of Barry Windsor-Smith's output. Plus, in case you are wondering, they are all in pristine condition ! From 1979 a powerful image for those that know their legends. The image size is 270 x 430 mm printed on a 500 x 334mm heavy stock , supplied unmounted and signed by Barry Windsor-Smith. Includes ARTISTS PROOF embossed stamp in border.

Printed on heavy gloss-art stock and SIGNED by Barry Windsor Smith. It is an 360 x 990 image size and 465 x 1014 overall size. The border is a beautiful light burgundy with a gold line round the image and the title inset at the bottom. Below that is the artists name, embossed Barry Windsor-Smith ARTISTS PROOF stamp and signature. Barry Windsor-Smith has also dated it 2001. Supplied unmounted.

Poster edition of this 360 x 990mm Barry Windsor-Smith image. Umounted, unsigned. In actual fact it looks as if these are pretty much identical to the signed ones but without the border because the stock is much heavier than you'd expect for a poster.
