Here we have Gandalf, Strider etc as we love to see them challenging the might of the dirty old Sauron. This one didn't photograph too well. he colours have washed out somewhat and the image has dulled. Sorry about that. Yipes, this dark image really didn't photograph well at all - down the left hand side are Gollum, Frodo and Sam crouching in the gloom as they make their way to ....ummmm, I guess it's Cirith Ungol ... what do you reckon? Fabulous out of print poster by Irvine Peacock of this brilliant painting inspired by The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien. Large 860 x 610 mm poster. Also known as 'Enchanted Valley'. Published over ten years ago by Anabas this poster was not part of a licensed deal with the Tolkien Estate, which is probably why it carried the other name although in all probability it should never have had the word 'Isengard' on it at all even with the "Irvine's Peacock's interpretation of" disclaimer. But that is a job for the lawyers and of course we'll change the title if anyone objects ... watch this space! Weirdly enough the wording on our posters has the titles top and bottom the other way round from the publishers jpg image. Wonder why? Anyway, these old posters are hard to obtain nowadays with places claiming they have them when in fact they haven't. We only have a few copies and when they're gone, well, basically they're gone....
